Current 2021 Director-Genera
The army’s media wing ISPR on Wednesday 6th October 2021 announced that Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum has been appointed the new (DG ISI) director-general of the Inter-Services Intelligence. Chief of Army Staff appointed Lt. General Nadeem Anjum as DG ISI.
General Nadeem Anjum has replaced Lt-Gen Hameed, who has now been posted as the Corps Commander Peshawar, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Lt Gen Anjum was previously the commander of Karachi Corps. He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general in September 2019.
