If the linear momentum measures 50 %then K. E will increase by 125%

Percentage increase in K.E,
(E)=[E2​−E1/E1​​​]×100=[E2/E1​​−1]×100
But Eαp2⇒E2/​E1​​=p22​/p21​​
∴ % increase in K.E. =[p22​/p21​​−1]×100
Let p1​=100, then
p2​=100+50=150% increase in
K.E.=[(150)2​/(100)2−1]×100=[225​/100−1]×100 =125%
Therefore, the percentage increase in its kinetic energy is 125%
